Whitney Houston loses cool on flight

It's been said before, and it's happened again: Houston, we have a problem.

Whitney Houston, that is, who was involved in an incident aboard an Atlanta-to-Detroit Delta flight Wednesday, a source close to the singer confirms to PEOPLE.

Houston, 48, refused to fasten her seatbelt and had words with a crewmember before she eventually was buckled up by a flight attendant before takeoff.

"She wasn't drunk, drinking or on drugs; she was just exhausted," the source tells PEOPLE.

Chris Tucker to lose $6 million home

"Rush Hour" star Chris Tucker's $6 million Florida mansion is in foreclosure, with more than $4.4 million owed to the bank, reports the Orlando Sentinel, citing papers filed in Circuit Court in Lake County.

Tucker, 39, bought the 10,000-sq.-ft. waterfront home on Lake Apopka, near Orlando, in 2007. The newspaper says the residence contains five bedrooms, three fireplaces, a personal spa, an outdoor kitchen overlooking a pool, and a basement outfitted to resemble a pirate ship, including the sail.

Court documents reportedly show an $11.5 million IRS lien on the home in 2011 in order to collect federal income taxes from Tucker, whose monthly mortgage payment, the documents also show, was $25,812.50.

There has been no comment from Tucker, but the Times Union of Albany, N.Y., reports that his comedy show scheduled in the city for this Sunday -- and was a rescheduling of a postponed September 3 performance -- has been canceled because of "unforeseen circumstances."

Helen Mirren's husband surprised by her nude photos

Taylor Hackford was pleasantly surprised when he flipped open New York Magazine to find images of his wife Helen Mirren nude in a bathtub.

"She said she did a photo session with New York magazine," Hackford told PEOPLE at Tuesday's New York premiere of "Love Ranch," which he directed. "I had no idea what they were until I saw them in the magazine."

The photos, which Hackford says he "loved," correspond with Mirren's role in "Love Ranch" as the madame of a legalized brothel.

Mirren's take on it is slightly different. "He loved them because he recognized me in them. That's the Helen that he knows," she tells PEOPLE of the shot which is "as naked from the neck up as it is from the neck down."

They do agree on the context, however. Hackford explains the shoot was more about art than nudity as Mirren, 64, is very interested in art photography. She says, "The intention was not to make a sexy photograph, the intention was to do a bare photograph."

"Love Ranch," which is in theaters now, is the first time the couple has worked together since they met on the set of "White Nights" 26 years ago. And it is no accident. After years of hoping to work withhis wife again, this time Hackford, 65, says he "consciously went out and looked."

"She played two different queens of England, two different Elizabeths, in the same year," says Hackford. "And I know as a director that's how you seduce actors -- you give them something [different]."

Her role this time, Mirren says, is "not a sexy role, it's not. It's about love. A brothel, believe it or not, is not a very sexy place."

Christina Aguilera taken into custody after companion's arrest

Pop singer and actress Christina Aguilera was detained early Tuesday "to ensure her safety" after her rumored boyfriend was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, authorities said.

Aguilera, 30, was a passenger in a car that was stopped about 2:45 a.m. (5:45 a.m. ET) in West Hollywood, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.

"The driver, Matthew Rutler, was determined to be driving while under the influence of alcohol and arrested," the release said.

Aguilera was determined to be intoxicated, said Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore. "She was not capable of taking care of herself," he told reporters, but said she was "very cooperative, not belligerent in any way."

She was technically arrested on a public intoxication charge, Whitmore said, but "there was never the intent to prosecute." Such actions are routine in such instances -- when a driver is arrested and a passenger is determined to be intoxicated.

Since Aguilera was not able to care for herself "and no one was available to ensure her safety, Aguilera was taken into custody," the statement said. The department "stressed that she was not involved in any criminal activity."

Aguilera will have a record of the misdemeanor arrest, Whitmore said, and was booked, fingerprinted, put in a jail cell and monitored. However, she will not face charges, he said. "The law specifically allows for no desire to prosecute."

Aguilera was released about 7:30 a.m. (10:30 a.m. ET) after passing a sobriety test, he said.

Rutler's bail was set at $5,000, he said, not the $30,000 reported on the sheriff's website. He said Rutler was in the process of bailing out of jail Tuesday morning.

The car was pulled over after authorities noticed it "driving erratically," he said.

Aguilera divorced Jordan Bratman earlier this year.

Madonna's older brother says he's homeless

One of Madonna's brothers has been homeless for a year and a half and currently lives under a bridge in Traverse City, Michigan, he says in a new interview.

"My family turned their back on me, basically, when I was having a hard time," Anthony Ciccone tells the Michigan Messenger, a citizen journalist site. "You think I haven't answered this kind of question a bazillion times -- why my sister is a multibazillionarie, and I'm homeless on the street?"

He adds: "Never say never. This could happen to anybody."

Ciccone, 55, says he's been on the street since losing a job at his father's vineyard and winery in Suttons Bay, Michigan. He also says he got frostbite on his feet last winter while sleeping outside in the bitter Michigan cold.

"You have no idea how gruesome it is," he says. "You get nerve damage. That's the milder stage. In the severe stage you have tissue damage, that is when you lose parts of your body ... A friend of mine lost all ten toes. Several have died of hypothermia."

Most of the story focuses on how Traverse City is better than most at caring for the homeless. "This is a unique system with the churches here," Ciccone says. "You won't find this in too many places."

Madonna, 53, has not commented on the story. In 2008, her younger brother Chris released a tell-all book called Life with My Sister Madonna.

Jennifer Lopez breaks down on stage

Her own lyrics hit a little too close to home for Jennifer Lopez, who broke down in tears onstage after singing a song about loves from her past.

"I'm going to sing you the last song I wrote about love," Lopez, who recently split from husband Marc Anthony, told the audience at the Mohegan Sun's 15th anniversary celebration on Saturday night after singing an acoustic rendition of her hit "If You Had My Love." "A lot has changed since then."

Lopez, 42, then launched into "Until It Beats No More" while dancers re-enacted scenes with the singer and some of the men from her past. A Lopez lookalike danced with guys who looked a lot like her exes Diddy, Cris Judd and Ben Affleck.

The final couple to appear in the spotlight danced much like Lopez and her estranged husband during their "American Idol" performance in May, just weeks before they announced their split.

After she was done, Lopez told the sold-out crowd, "I took a trip down memory lane" -- and then started to cry as the crowd applauded.

But it wasn't all sadness for Lopez. A photo of her twins Max and Emme, 3½, flashed above her head and she said, "There's love -- and then there's love."

Mario Cantone marries his partner of 20 years

Comedian Mario Cantone has married his partner of 20 years, musical theater director Jerry Dixon, Cantone revealed Friday on The View.

"I got married for the same reasons you did," the "Sex and the City" actor, 51, tells fellow newlywed Joy Behar on the show. "We're older now. We've been together 20 years. After 20 years you're like, 'Thanks for the anti-climactic honeymoon, government!' "

Cantone says their wedding was officiated by pastor Jay Bakker, the son of the late Tammy Faye Bakker Messner.

"It was beautiful, just my family there," Cantone says, adding of his new husband: "I love him. He's a good man."
